Free Island Trolley

MCAT (Manatee County Area Transit) connects with the free Manatee Trolley on Anna Maria Island. Daily service runs from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every 20 minutes, from the Anna Maria City Pier in the north to Coquina Beach in the south. Trolleys offer both air-conditioned and open-air seating.

Monkey Bus: Trips for Tips

Island Beach Monkeys is a free transportation service run by Island residents. Their fleet includes an 8-passenger golf cart limo, two mini-buses, and an SUV, available to take you wherever you need to go: dinner, errands, or a tour of the Island.

Unlike the trolley, their vehicles can cross the bridges, so you're not limited to the Island. They serve Siesta Key, Cortez, Downtown Bradenton, and the Ellenton Outlet Mall, with pre-booked trips available throughout the Tampa Bay and Sarasota area. Drivers work for tips only.
