What Makes Us Different

Beach Retreats was founded in 2015 by two Canadian sisters, Emma and Claire. "We grew up vacationing on Anna Maria Island and immediately fell in love with the beauty and old Florida charm. After 15 years of visiting with our parents, now having families of our own, we decided it was time to make our vacation paradise our full-time home." (Emma Stringer) It was a huge leap of faith: a 1,500-mile move to a new country, a new community, new schools, new friends, and a brand new life. And it was worth it. Making vacation dreams come true is our passion, and there is no better place to do that than Anna Maria Island. Having owned vacation rentals on the island since 2009 and successfully managed them to the point where others asked if we might consider taking on more, Beach Retreats was born.
